1) We urgently require someone to come on board as a Volunteer Coordinator. This will involve ensuring that we have volunteers in place each week, keeping a list of tasks and volunteer hours. It will involve communicating with all members of the Volunteer Hub.
2) MiniRoos Match Day Coordinators - Each weekend we host several visiting teams. A Match Day coordinator will be on duty (hi-vis vest) to ensure that visitors know which pitch their game is on. A Match Day Coordinator will ensure that each team has a volunteer/parent referee, whistle, match ball etc (Most will but it's ensuring that any 'gap' or 'missing equipment' is filled. A very important part of this role is to make sure that spectators keep to the 'right' side of the pitch, spectators do not stand by the goals and the Coach is not impeded. This can be a rostered role.
3) Equipment Coordinator - Assist with maintaining an equipment register and inventory. Ensure match balls are returned following match days. Monitoring teams equipment. Advise when additional equipment is required.
4) Website/Social Media guru (work closely with Marketing, photographer, videographer
5) Sponsorship Coordinator - Assist with Business Directory and source Member Discounts. Keep sponsors updated of events.
6) Membership - Manage members directory
7) Canteen - Weekday evenings - The Canteen will need to be opened during the season on weekday evenings. The Club wants to follow the City of Casey Health Canteens policy in association with Monash Health and is looking to introduce healthier options to parents and players. We require volunteers to assist with Canteen each evening. This is a rostered position.
8) Senior Men Match days. - These can be very busy events. We are always looking for volunteers to assist with a number of roles. It could be manning the bbq, Marshalling the event, selling raffle tickets, memberships, looking after the Mascots, helping with the Bar (RSA needed) or just making sure it runs smoothly.
9) Graphic design - We are always looking for someone to design posters, flyers, website posts.
10) Videos - Many SL1 matches, men & women are often filmed. Some live or others that will be posted to our new youtube channel. Anyone with such experience would be appreciated to help grow this new area.
11) Marketing - Again this is an area that is rapidly growing. Anyone with experience in this area that can help grow the Club's presence and therefor it's supporter base, please get in touch.
12) First Aid - A coordinator that can oversee First Aid volunteer coverage on match days
