Sponsorship Opportunities

Australia's Growth Sport in Melbourne's Growth Corridor!

Your Opportunity to get involved and get noticed

Soccer in Australia has experienced dramatic growth in participation rates over the last couple of years, with the participation rate expected to increase even more with Australia's Socceroos taking on the rest of the world in this year's World Cup. All of Australia's football elite are promoting the sport and introducing it to a new generation of youth by targeted advertising and creative campaigns.

The Casey Comets Football Club is situated in Cranbourne in Melbourne's South Eastern suburbs which is one of the largest growth regions in the state. The following statistics show just how much growth is occurring in our region:

  • In the 10 years between 1997 and 2007, the Estimated Residential Population of Casey increased from 154,000 to 230,000. This is an increase of 33%

  • The City of Casey is Victoria’s most populous municipality. The population is estimated at 240,000, or 79,000 households (February 2009 estimate)

  • Victorian government projections indicate that Casey's population reach 375,000 by 2026, making it bigger than Canberra is today

  • About 146 people (52 new households) move in every week, equivalent to 7,600 people (2,700 households) every year

  • 29% of Casey’s population is aged under 18 compared to 23% in Metropolitan Melbourne

Put all the facts together, and you can see that joint opportunites exist for sponsorship and partnership with a growing local sporting club that is working to attract, foster and retain youth participation in local sport.
